Pottery Road Recreation Ground

Pottery Road Recreation Ground is one of the parish’s principal recreational sites and provides a wide range of facilities for the local community. Situated adjacent to the Village Hall and the future Community Centre site, the recreation ground plays an important role in supporting sport, recreation and community activities within the parish.

Facilities currently available at the site include:

  • Children’s play equipment
  • Open recreational grassed areas
  • Sports and informal play space
  • Seating and pathways
  • Car parking facilities
  • Access to the Village Hall

The site is also central to the Parish Council’s long-term plans for the new Community Centre project, which will deliver significant investment into community infrastructure for the parish. As part of these wider improvements, some recreational facilities may temporarily be relocated or adjusted during development works, with replacement and enhanced facilities planned as part of the overall project.

The Parish Council continues to maintain the recreation ground through regular inspections, grounds maintenance, tree works and infrastructure improvements to ensure the area remains safe, attractive and suitable for community use.

Pottery Road Recreation Ground remains an important community asset and continues to support a wide range of recreational and community activities for residents of all ages.
