We’re installing new equipment at Prees Road, Calverhall - update Every day, we treat an average of 3.1 billion litres of used water from flushing loos, household appliances and showers so it can be safely returned to the environment. As you will be aware we’re carrying out work off Prees Road, decommissioning an old septic tank in the field at the rear of properties on Prees Road. We will be replacing it with a new innovative system. We did expect to have our work completed by about now, however, we have had to do more work than originally anticipated and this has caused some delay. We anticipate that our works will now be completed around December with reinstatement of the field in spring time 2024. How this may affect you  A temporary working area has been set up on land behind Prees Road, using the existing access from Calverhall Road and from the car park at the top of Prees Road.  We’ll use machinery to dig and install the new system. We will do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum.  Work will take place Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.  We expect the work to be completed around December.
