Polite request to dog walkers

Ightfield Parish Council is delighted to see the community embracing and enjoying the Community Link Footpath.

As a polite request to users, would all dog walkers using the footpath please remember to keep dogs on leads, not only to ensure and maintain the safety and enjoyment of other users, but also to safeguard the dogs themselves. At this time of year, with very little covering vegetation, it would be easy for loose dogs to get through the hedges onto the road, or into the fields where heavy machinery may be working.

For your convenience, waste bins have been situated at both ends of the path. The bins can be used for both general litter and dog waste.

Please, stay safe.

Thank you.
