Outdoor section

New outdoor section members are always welcome whether you already play bowls or would like to learn, we are here to help.  Our facilities are excellent and we have a good social environment for the section as well as access to the whole club facilities and activities.    You may be a member of the Indoor Section as well as the outdoor section if you wish.

Members who wish to play for the outdoor section games must pay the governing bodies fees/registrations etc and therefore an annual membership for that as well.  Members who only play outdoors must also be social members of the Club.

Social Membership means:

You may come to the club at any time watch bowls indoor or outdoor and enjoy gardens in the summer plus the bar lounge where tea, coffee and drinks are available.

A social member may play bowls once a month as a guest of a full member and must pay double the normal rink fee.

You may attend any of the club events, including lunches, social evenings, but may not bring a guest.

Annual subscriptions are renewable on/by 1st October each year.

You are issued with your own entry fob.

Everyone is welcome to have a try and see if they like bowling, and we can arrange some initial guidance/tuition and provide bowls for the session free of charge – you are asked to wear flat soled shoes.
