Second In-House Triples Competition

Our current competition will finish soon The next In-House triples (teams formed by club members) will start on Thursday 19 August 2021. The form for self-selected teams is now posted on a board in the clubhouse. Members can sign up and check information in the clubhouse (when it is open) as well as online and directly via Derek Squire - on email at maryderek@btinternet.com or 'phone 01666-823482.

Competitions

Now that COVID restrictions are lifting, we intend to run almost all of the seasonal club competitions. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the clubhouse. The deadline for this will be Saturday 14 August 2021. Completion of each ‘round’ will need to be achieved rapidly and some competitions may have a specific ‘playing date’.

Emergency Contacts

We have been updating our first aid and emergency response procedures. We would therefore appreciate all members completing a new contact form.

If you can complete this digitally then please do so via the club website: http://www.mbasc.online/community/malmesbury-bowls-and-social-club-9981/contact-details/

If you cannot complete the information this way then a paper version of the form can be found at the back of the "signing in folder".

Health and Safety

We are all glad to see restrictions lifting however we do need to keep an eye on this virus and act sensibly. All members must continue to sign in at the folder provided, please. We also advise one person to use the toilet facilities at a time (use the lock on the first, outer door). By continuing to arrive ready for play we can restrict any changing room use.

Bar

The bar continues to be an invaluable source of income for the club. As we continue to stretch the availability of this joyful facility then we need more people to help staff it. If you are able to offer any time and would like some basic ‘training’ on how to operate behind the bar then please see Brian Reynolds.

Key Access

New keys may still be obtained from Brian Reynolds. New members £6 deposit. Existing members by returning the old key.
