Saturday 26th August saw the annual 'A' team versus 'B' team friendly. And what a great day for a game. The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the game played in the right spirit. Thank you to Pete and Anna for providing the food, your efforts were most welcomed.

On Rink 1, Brian, Roger and Les won 19-13 against Ian, Tom and John. Les put in another sterling performance.

On Rink 3, Colin, Arthur and Terry went to the last end against Colin, Pete and Dave to lose narrowly 17-15.

One Rink 4, Albert, Derek and Wayne must have been mesmerised by Bob's new multicoloured bowls (same colours as the flag of Belgium indeed), to lose heavily by 31-9 to Bob, Neil and Paul.

It is recommended to wear sunglasses when playing Bob with his new woods to avoid photosensitive epilepsy.

However, the objective of the game was achieved which was to enjoy an afternoon of bowls with our friends in both teams.

Thank you to John and Brian for manning the bar. And another thank you to Brian and Tom for their kind words.
