There have been a number of suggestions that as the England game is on Tuesday 3 July at 19:00, we should postpone the league games that night and play them in an extra week at the end of the season.

The committee have considered this and rejected the idea on a number of grounds, lack of light at the season's end, alternate arrangements made by clubs for Tuesday after the season ends, division 3 just had a bye week and don't wish for another.

As many players will either record the game or want to watch highlights later, could all skips please ask (insist ?) that anyone who does follow the game on mobiles or tablets does not broadcast the score or any other information so that the enjoyment of others is not spoiled.
