Last Tuesday, 14th June, Malmesbury A beat Cam Mills A by 62-40 in shots, and 10-0 in points, in the Cotswold League. In the Club Pairs, Marlene and Joan progress to the final, after their match against Roy and Derek.

The Tea and Biscuits league resumed after a short break, and Malmesbury played Chippenham Town. There were quite a few unfamiliar faces in the Chippenham Town team but to no avail. Malmesbury won all four rinks easily and took 14 points from the match.

Last Friday 17th June, Tim, Roy, and Andy beat Calne in the National Triples. They play another triples team from Calne on Monday 20th June.

On Saturday 18th June, Paul traveled to Corsham to play in the National Two Woods, and lost on the 21st end, in the rain to make matters worse.

Eleven hardy souls traveled to Swindon North End on Sunday 19th June, Malmesbury had an enjoyable afternoon despite the very idiosyncratic green.

Next weekend, Malc, Alan, and Paul play Devizes in the County Over 60s Triples on Saturday. On Sunday, Alan plays Keith Hutchens (Chippenham Park) in the National Champion of Champions.

There is a friendly match against Chippenham Town on Saturday 25th June, please sign up if you have not done so.

On Friday 1st July, Roy and Brian will play Alan and Tim in the National Pairs at home. Gary and Malc travel to Chippenham Town to play their match.

Please sign up for the Triples Gala on Saturday 23rd July and for the Triples (Drawn) League starting on Thursday 14th July.
