Even though we are entering our usual ‘winter’ period there are still opportunities to bowl. We also have decisions to take and work to do, preparing for next season. Please pass this information on to any member you know of who does not have digital access.

The Men’s championship and the WoW (one wood tournament) will now take place on the same day. This will be either Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th November will be used, depending on the weather.

Start time(s) will be 12.15 (draw), 12.30 first round. 1.30 Championship game.

In-House Games

Our friendlies have finished but we can still organise some games for club members at the weekends when the weather is kind. Please let Derek Squire know if and when you might be interested and available and a game will be arranged.

Special General Meeting

This will now be held on Sunday 14th November 2021 at 7.00 p.m. The first task will be to elect the committee for the next year, along with the people who will support them in planning, organising, and running the club. The list is on the notice board in the clubhouse. There are tasks large and small so don’t be shy in offering a bit of your time! T

The second task for the meeting will be to discuss the future of the club. Changes of some sort will have to be made and a paper explaining the choices will be given to each member during the weekend of 6th/7th November 2021. Discussions can take place before a decision, that will be made at the AGM In February 2022.
