Centenary Cup
Your attention is drawn to the following which apply to the Centenary Cup:
Contacting P&D Competition Secretary
- The Draw Sheets Sent to each Competing Club contains Instructions on How to Contact the P&D’s Competition Secretary with the Match Result and Send in Match Score Cards.
- Please Ensure that the Captain of your Side(s) is given a Copy, as Failing to Follow Them May Lead to their Side Being Scratched from Following Rounds.
Centenary Cup Rules
- The Centenary Cup is a Two Rink Competition with Matches, up to Semi-Finals, played with 1 Rink at Home, the Other Away
- Played over a Maximum of 18 Ends on Both Rinks.
- When Round Draw is Made, the 1st Out Of The Hat for Each Match is Designated the “Home Team”, who will Nominate which Rink plays the Extra End(s)
- If Match Score is Level after Both Rinks have Played 18 Ends, then the Nominated Rink will Play the Extra End(s) required to achieve the Final Match Score.
- All Clubs must ensure their Captain(s) of the Day know the P&D Competition Rules, especially Rule 16 (Centenary Cup)
- Failure to Comply with Any of these Rules will lead to the Elimination of the Defaulting Side from the Rest of the Competition.
- In the case of a Dispute, these Rulings will be Strictly Applied.
- Remember, if you wish to Raise a Dispute, please contact me within 24Hours of when the Match was Played
- If NO Challenge is made by either party, Both will be scratched from the Competition.

Postponed or Abandoned Games
The P&D’s Competition Secretary MUST:
- Be Contacted by the Home Captain if a Match is Postponed or Abandoned due to the Weather, as soon as possible BUT no Later than 10am the Day After the game was due to have been played.
- Be Sent when a Game is Abandoned, by the Captains of Both Sides, Copies of their Scorecards at the point of Abandonment.
Match Fees
Until the Semi-Finals, the Green Fees are Paid by the Side playing on their Home Green.
Dress Code
- ALL Players MUST Wear their Club’s Dress Code Registered with the P&D
- If Opposing Side Note that a Player is Not Wearing the Correct Dress Code, their Captain MUST bring it to the Attention of His Opposing Captain and also Inform the Competition Secretary who will also remind that Club of their Dress Code Responsibilities
