First of all, thank you all for the Honour of electing me as President of your association for the coming year.

Be assured that I am very proud to be elected and will do my utmost to uphold the interests of the association as we set out on our second century.

We spent last year enjoying the celebration of our first 100 years – but now we must look to the future and ensure that we do all we can to provide a strong and healthy association so that succeeding generations can continue to enjoy competitive bowling in our area – hopefully for another century!

My major personal objective for this year is going to be improving our COMMUNICATION – throughout the Association – at all levels.

Finally, I wish you all an enjoyable and successful year. I’m looking forward to working with our excellent committee, and you, the member clubs, to give the P&D the best possible start to our second century.
