In October 2022 we saw the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra play at Glive in Guildford. The programme comprised Dvorak Carnival Overture, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with soloist Alena Baeva, and Tchaikovsky Symphony No 5.
In February 2022, we visited Guildford once more to see the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra play Bruch Violin Concerto, Elgar Enigma Variations, and Mozart Symphony 31 (Paris). It was good to see a live orchestra again after a long gap due to the Covid pandemic. Sadly, Covid still impacted the event as the evening's programme had to be changed somewhat.
