Visits 2024
In March 2024, 33 of us visited the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum where we had coffee and a buffet lunch. Then in the afternoon we went on to Down House, the former home of Charles Darwin.
In April 2024, on possibly the first really sunny day of the year, a group of around 40 of us enjoyed a cruise on the Wey and Arun Canal with an afternoon tea.
And in early May 2024, thirteen men had a rare visit to St Hugh's monastery at Cowfold.
Also in May we took a coach to Tenterden where we boarded the Kent and Susses Railway for a trip to Bodiam and back. Then it was on to the British Tea Museum in Hastings where we sampled a variety of teas and learned to tea dance.
