Visits 2024 contd

in June 2024, 28 members, partners and friends went to the Port Lympne Safari Park and rode through the park on a safari truck.

In July 2024 we arranged a Blue Badge guided tour of vintage Essex villages for 35 members and guests including a vintage coach museum. We were well fed with tea/coffee, ploughman's lunch, afternoon tea and cake. Much appreciated by all.

Probus Shelley Visits 2024 contd

In September, 14 of us, including five from Probus Arun Forest, enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Ricardo Technical Centre in Shoreham. Ricardo make 3000 high-performance engines a year for McClaren cars and are at the cutting edge of engine design and new technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells for cruise liners.
