Walks 2025
In March 2025, thirteen of us visited the Knepp Estate for a three mile circular walk. The estate began rewilding in the early 2000's and wildlife has repossessed the estate. There was a bird hide, five tree platforms and a viewpoint on the estate. Afterwards we had lunch at the nearby Crown Inn.
On a cloudy day, August 2025, a group of seven walkers started out on a 3 mile circular walk around the national trust deer park at Petworth. The grounds, landscaped by Capability Brown, provide interesting views along the way with ponds, hills, ancient trees and, of course, Petworth House. Then we moved on to The Stag Inn at Balls Cross where we all appreciated the excellent food.
