On a day when parts of Swindon experienced hailstones covering their Green's, Purton although cold did see some sunshine and so Colin our President was delighted to declare the Green open for the 2026 season.

A good turn out of members and 'potential' new members had an enjoyable afternoon loosening their arms and catching up on news with friends.

A busy season lies ahead in which we hope to attract new members to join our happy, successful group.
