Members will be aware that the club currently has neither a safeguarding or welfare officer. Volunteers are sought to fill these important posts. At first glance these jobs may appear quite daunting but there is lots of help available, indeed there are free courses that you can attend if you wish.

It is important to note that in the event of a significant safeguarding or welfare issue the club officer will simply act as a point of contact with help available from the Executive Committee and, if need be, specialist advisers available from both the Somerset Bowls Association and Bowls England.

There is free parking in the Leisure Centre car park which is immediately adjacent to the Bowling Club. Wheelchair access is via the ramp at the corner of the green where Corams Lane joins Springfield Road.
