This coming season Wellington BC will be entering two new competitions. The East of Exe mixed league is played on Monday evenings and will, for the first time, give club members a chance to play in a mixed gender competitive environment. It should appeal to all members and there will be opportunities for both experienced and less experienced new members to take part. The team will be made up of 4 rinks (4 rinks of 4), each match is over 18 ends, threes are up and it's straight in. No trial ends or single shots on the first two ends! Full rules can be found under the East of Exe tab.

Again, for the first time, our men will be entering Bowls England Top Club competition. A national competition with the final at the home of English Bowls- Royal Leamington Spa, in early September. The format for this is 11 players in each team. Made up of one rink (four), one triple, one pair, one singles playing four woods and another singles playing two woods. One point is awarded for each discipline and the winner is the team with most points. See under the Bowls England Top Club tab for more information and the rules. Essential reading if you are hoping to take part in this competition.
