Weekdays 09:30-16:00 Weekends: 06:00-18:00

Poppy Appeal - Volunteers Needed
The Parish Council has been contacted by the British Legion to see if there is anyone who might want to volunteer to distribute and collect boxes and tins for the poppy appeal this year. Below is a list of the locations a box and collecting tin needs to go to. Volunteers will need to go through some training and get signed up officially. Under the Wrekin - Rushton
The Parish Council has been contacted by Under the Wrekin to see if there is anyone living in, or around, Rushton who might be able to spare some time to distribute the publication. Broadband - Project Gigabit: Last week, North Shropshire MP, Helen Morgan met with Building Digital UK (BDUK) about the stalled Project Gigabit rollout across the area. Under the project some 12,000 Shropshire homes were supposed to be connected to full-fibre fast broadband as part of Project Gigabit, but the company contracted to carry out the work handed back the contract after connecting just 3,500 properties. The contract has now been handed to Openreach who will soon start work on connecting the remaining 8,500 properties. Because of the earlier delay, the project completion deadline has been moved to 2031. Helen is pushing for the work to happen much faster. Residents can now check if their home is one of the properties due to be connected by entering the postcode here.
