Veterans League 'A' Team Promoted - Again

In back-to-back promotions Bishopthorpe's Veterans League 'A' Team secured its place in Division 1 for next year. The Team finished second in Division 2 with 20 points, narrowly beaten by Scarcroft 'A' with 21 points. Last year Bishopthorpe 'A' came second in Division 3, with 20 points, and gained promotion to Division 2.
Team Captain, Martin Prime, thanked his team, Jack Burgess, Geoff Gardiner, Dave Hagyard, Franco Napoletano and David Thackwray for their support throughout the season.
