Great news.  Bishopthorpe's Veterans League 'A' Team came second in Division 3 with 20 points and will be promoted to Division 2 for the 2017 season. Team Captain, Martin Prime, thanked all his players for their sterling efforts throughout the season.  Bishopthorpe 'A' had just lost their final match on Tuesday 23 August against Hull Road Park, who finished top of the Division with 21 points.
