Bleasby Flood Team have received a yellow flood warning for heavy rain this Wednesday.

We have been caught out by flash rain flooding before and now we have more gullies and drains in village (see picture). All the kerb ones have been checked today and are clear however 90% of drains across drives to houses are blocked.

Please clear yours if you live on Main Street between Orchard close and the railway.

A short stick will do the job but beware of traffic!

You might want to help a neighbour if you see theirs are blocked too.

Thanks for helping....the more water we can drain away the better the village copes with these events.
