It looks highly unlikely there will be a Bleasby Bike Fest this year due to the C-19 restrictions.

Having given careful consideration to alternatives, Bleasby Parish Council have agreed to allow Glebe Field to be utilised by parent/carer supervised families in order to help children to learn to ride their bikes and for the more experienced to practise their skills.

To help facilitate this, our local Bike Fest organiser, Bobbie Desbruslais, has kindly spent time laying out some markers on Glebe Field which families can use as a practise course. She has also put down distance markers along Gypsy Lane for those wishing to test their endurance!

It is assumed that residents will act responsibly whist these temporary facilities are in place by abiding to the most recent Government C-19 distancing guidelines and by driving responsibly along Gypsy Lane whilst there may be a higher number of children around than usual. The responsibility for the safe supervision of children, both on the Glebe Field and on the roads, is soley with their parents/carers.
