Last week, BBC East Midlands were in Bleasby to film the wonderful clapping that took place on Orchard Close on Thursday night (screened on the late news that evening). We believe the BBC will be returning at some point on Friday 8th May to see all the amazing floral displays, Scarecrows, 'NHS thank you' signs and decorations that have been made as part of Bleasby in Bloom & VE Day celebrations.

There have been some marvellous new scarecrows appearing over the last few days and some lovely decorations added to the fence along Glebe Field. Take a look: click here

We hope you are able to join in with the efforts, make our village stand out and put smiles on people's faces.

Thank you.
