Following the support received for the idea posted on the Village Facebook page last week, the first Scarecrow Trail is now officially under way!

Let's start getting creative..... You can make whatever you want - it doesn't have to be a traditional Scarecrow.

We won't be creating a map of where the Scarecrows are and it's not an official competition but, it would be great if as many households as possible took part, following Covid-19 Government guidelines. No rush, no pressure to get it finished, no end date - take your time and have fun.

This will be a nice addition to the Bleasby in Bloom decorations that will emerge over the next few months - you can even combine the two if you wish.

We will be taking photos of the Scarecrows as and when they go up in the village and they will be posted on the Village Facebook page and added to an album on the Community Website. If I miss any, please let me know or alternatively you can upload your own to this page. We can also get them uploaded to the website.

Please enjoy as you walk around the parish. You may also spot a few colourfully decorated pallets that have been creatively produced as another "thank you" to our NHS staff and all those involved with providing essential care and support during these times.

We look forward to seeing your creations!
