This is the good news you have all been waiting for - there is no need to cut your grass during May!

The National Trust have teamed up with Plant Life to promote the idea of letting your grass grow throughout May and seeing what wonderful wild flowers appear - click this link for some more detail from them, including ways to get the kids involved and even how to make a scarecrow.

As this ties in well with Bleasby in Bloom, it would be great if you can send in pictures and experiences of what you see growing - we can share on the website and village Facebook - might even be the beginning of a Bleasby Wild Flower Club, who knows!
