Two teams from Boughton won seven of their ten games to triumph in the Millennium Cup at Herne Bay.

The weather held for the day as the players took on the challenging green. Canterbury were the only team to beat both our teams, which put them into the runners up position. The day concluded with a meal provided by the dedicated volunteers at Herne Bay, and speeches followed thanking all concerned with organising the event.

Photos show the cup being presented to club captain Mick Cousins by Forrest of Blean chairman Alan Jordan.

Well done to our teams:

John Agate, Dave Chapman and Trevor Lyons

Tim Prior, Mike Cousins and Colin Hadler
