Boughton Under Blean started the season with the annual Captain Versus the President match. This year the Captain’s team won and stood the round in bar afterwards.

Tuesday and Whitstable invited Boughton for a friendly to help break in their refurbished green. The home team enjoyed a good win beating Boughton by 72 to 109

Drawing rink was Chris Lewis, Ron Piper and Trevor Lyons. 16-16

Wednesday and Boughton hosted Barham for a friendly. Barham won 136 -81

Winning rink: Liz Chapman, Ron Piper and Mick Cousins won 18-12

Saturday and five teams travelled to Sellindge for another friendly.

Winning rinks: Rebecca Spears, Jeff Eason and Charles Marsh won 15-12

Jackie Leek, Nigel Dawkins and Mick Nichol won 20-10
