The Green re-opens

The weekend saw the green at Boughton under Blean re-open to members who enjoyed rolling up and on Sunday the annual Presidents versus the Captains match was played. The weather stayed dry but members wrapped up against the cold wind which blew over the green. After the match, members retired to the club house where the bar was open and pastries and home made cakes provided by some club members were enjoyed by all. Thanks was given to those members and also to the bar staff and the green keeping team for enabling such a brilliant start to the season.

The match was won by the Captain's team, the first time in memory this has happened.
