Presentation Dinner 2023

The 2023 Presentation Dinner took place on Saturday 25th November in the club house.

The four course meal was enjoyed by all and was followed by a special presentation to retired green keeper Roy Piles. An engraved glass vase was presented by club Ladies Captain Ann Cousins and a tribute and thanks were given by Chairman Roy Tamplin, in recognition of the years of hard work Roy put in to looking after the green. Eileen his wife was presented with a bouquet of flowers by club Captain Mick Cousins.

This was followed by the presentations of the trophies by the club captains for firstly the short mat competitions and then the outdoor competitions. Some of our worthy recipients were unable to attend on the night and we look forward to seeing them at the club very soon.

Thanks was given to the caterers and all the helpers they brought with them to serve at table and finally to Leslie Holmes who organised the whole evening and concluded the event by announcing the results of the four category table quiz which provided some head scratching throughout the evening.
