"Bovey provided opposition on two rinks to a group of Derwent Hotel residents from King George Field, a dedicated indoor club from the outer London area. The opponents on the other two rinks were from Chudleigh.
Bovey produced an excellent showing by winning well on one rink and unluckily losing narrowly by one shot on the other following the concession of six shots on one end.
Keith, Dick, Kath & Alastair won by 17 shots to 7. Carolyn, Andrew, Steve C & Phil J lost by 12 shots to 13.
All-in-all not bad for a group of part-timers!"
