Season opened with a difficult away trip to Marldon on a bitterly cold, wet, miserable evening..The outcome was similar to the weather with BT losing all 4 rinks by a combined score of 41-82.. still the after match hot dogs were very nice!!

Second away trip on another cool and blustery night saw a much improved performance in what was a tight and entertaining game away at Paignton..BT running out winning on 3 rinks and drawing the other and taking the match by 5 shots

Another away trip saw us visit Brixham St Mary on a thankfully lovely afternoon.. tight match again played in good spirit saw brixham come out on top as BT W1-D1-L2...

Fourth away trip on the bounce saw us visit Torquay Belgravia on another miserable wet evening..The performance was much brighter than the weather with the rinks shared but BTBC running out comfortable shots winners

Another away day saw BT visit Brixham Furzeham for round 5 off our seasons fixtures, with a fair few of our players unavailable for one reason or another..those who came in all played their part in a close game, but Brixham ran out winners..

The short trip to Chudleigh was our destination this time, and again we struggled on our travels, losing by 3 rinks to 1, though the overall score was relatively close. 2 pts gained

Our 1st home game of the season saw a return visit from Brixham Furzeham.. The "home" effect saw a great team effort which saw all 4 rinks go to Bovey and a resounding 14 pts in the bag..well played by all..

Last away fixture saw us visit Paignton "c"..having beaten the B team on their patch earlier in the season hopes were high though we had a number of regulars missing, but on a lovely sunny day, the green had been very heavily watered, was very wet slow & heavy which didn't appear to suit us at all.. Bovey winning just one rink & losing the match..2pts gained though..

Brixham st marys were the next visitors to bovey and the home side played well against the league leaders winning on 2 of the 4 rinks but losing the overall match score..4 pts to Bovey.

Next up at home were torquay Belgravia and a good home performance secured a 3 rinks to 1 victory and the overall match thus securing 12 pts

Our local neighbours Chudleigh who are sitting third in the division were last nights visitors to the Recreation ground.. This led to another fine home performance to take the match by 11pts to 3..  Our home form has been excellent, picking up 41 pts from our 4 games.. well played everyone!!!

Another fine sunny evening saw the arrival of Paignton "B" to Bovey..The visitors belied their lowly league position with a fine first half performance to lead on all 4 rinks by a total of 28 shots... However "tea" did the trick for the home side who turned in a much improved second half and at full time the rinks were shared 2 wins each but Bovey turned the 28 shot deficit into a 5 point win, by 73shots -68 shots..so, 10 pts to Bovey in what was an entertaining match.

Our penultimate match of the season saw Paignton "C" visit the recreation ground..Late arrival of our visitors saw the match start 15 mins late, which meant that the match finished in the dark... For most of the game the rinks were all very close but a late surge by Bovey, saw the home team draw clear to win by 3 rinks to 1 and an overall score of 73-58.. another 12 pts in the bag..
