Tyler won his 1st match in the singles, but was unlucky to lose in his next match later in the day

Ali & Tyler safely through unbadged pairs 24-14 against marina

Roger B safely through another round of over 60 singles 22-16 at Starcross

Deb B, Les H & Rog B, lost by 1 shot away at Abbrook in Burma star

Heidi won the first of her county pairs ably assisted by Chris T, 30-8

Sarah B unfortunately lost in the section 2 wood final away at Chudleigh 15-12, great effort Sarah

Mixed day for Kenny B & Roger B, disappointing loss in the morning in unbadged pairs to Newton Abbot, but played much better in the evening to beat a very strong Shaldon pair by 15-11 in the Grater pairs ..

Tyler and Ali safely through to Semi finals of unbadged pairs with a great win at Abbrook by 18-7

Kenny B, Chris S & Roger B also through to semis of unbadged triples with a last end win at Teignmouth Den 15-14

Kenny & Roger overcame a 10 shot deficit to claim another last end victory away at Newton Abbot in Grater pairs to reach semi final

Heidi & Les H also recorded a terrific win at Newton Abbot in the mixed pairs 16-13 to reach their Semi Final

Bovey Tracey are proud to announce that Kenny Breame, Chris Shorland and Roger Bailey (pictured) have won the Devon County Section 5 final of the Men's Unbadged Triples, winning by 21 shots to 11 against strong opposition from Shaldon. The Bovey team made the most of home advantage to race into an early lead before Shaldon got going to level the score but, following a five on one end, Bovey forged ahead to run out worthy winners. They will now play in the Devon quarter final at Seaton on a date to be confirmed.

Bovey were also represented in another section final by Tyler Smith and Alastair Franklin playing in the Men's Unbadged Pairs against Abbrook Park. This was their first ever final at this level and, although putting up a good fight, they were ultimately beaten by an experienced pair. Nevertheless, this will only make them stronger next time and they can feel proud to have made it so far.
