A good home win in the men's Mid Devon League against Paignton C gained Bovey Tracey 12 league points to leave them fifth in Division 2, 8 points behind Chudleigh with one more game to play, against Marldon who are already confirmed as division winners. It's a tough ask but 9 points or more would enable Bovey to finish fourth.

In the men's Over 55s, the Xmen came good against a strong Abbrook Park team, winning well on both rinks to gain a maximum of 8 league points. The Y team struggled on the carpet at Kingsteignton, being well-beaten on both rinks and giving their opponents the full 8 points. A rescheduled Y team match against Ipplepen resulted in the rinks being shared one each with the visitors winning overall to take 6 points to Bovey's 2.

The Ladies Triples Challenge team played a closely contested match against Bitton Park with the result going down to the last end on both rinks and being decided in Bovey's favour by 12-11 and 17-14, earning them the maximum 6 league points.

In the ladies' South Devon League, Bovey had another maximum points win 10-0 against Belgrave, Torquay which is expected to move them up into third place in the second division.

A mixed triples friendly at Starcross resulted in a comfortable home win with both teams enjoying a pleasant afternoon in good company at an excellent facility. Bovey welcomed neighbours Chudleigh for a mixed rinks friendly which went Bovey's way by 3 rinks to 1 but just 4 shots overall.
