To celebrate the King's coronation, we will be holding a friendly game on Monday 8th May. Details are shown below.

Monday 8th May 1.30pm for 2.00pm . Bowls game organised by Trudy, followed by a light cream tea .
Bowlers and non bowlers welcome £3.00 a head .
Please place your name on the list in club house or contact Paul or Heather directly.

The green will open on Sunday April 16 with a Pinks vs Blues mixed friendly match starting at 1:30pm. The mayor will be in attendance to bowl the first wood of the season. Please come along and support the day.

The first day of finals was held yesterday with closely fought contests across all matches. Congratulations to all the winners and commiserations to losers. Thanks also to the markers for their work.

The new online booking system goes live on Friday 27 May 2022. Members will now be able to view and book rinks from anywhere without the necessity to come to the clubhouse and enter into the sheets. (https://www.wells.rinkdiary.co.uk/).  

 

2021 - Dates for your Diary

Monday 19 April - Club Opening.

Due to the COVID-19 LOCKDOWN - The Bowls Club is currently partially open.  A weekly booking system is now up and running with social distancing measures in place.  Players need to bring their own bowls, as the clubhouse and sheds are not accessible at the moment.

Monday 21 June - Competitions Update

The Men's Championship and Novice Fixtures have been put up in the men's changing room.  There is no entry fee this year for these competitions.  

The Covid Cup fixtures have been put up in the clubhouse.  This year there are three leagues - League A starts w/c 28 June and Leagues B & C the following week.  The entry fee is £5 per team.  Please pay Tony Williamson.  

The Monday night Triples fixtures have been put up in the clubhouse.  The fixtures start on 5 July.  The entry fee is £3, which is paid to your team captain.  Your team captain will contact you to discuss which games you will play.

The Club Open Championship fixtures will be put up in the clubhouse on Wednesday.  There will be no entry fee this year.  

Please check the fixtures as soon as possible to see when your first games are.
