Annual Parish Meeting

Parish meetings are not the same as Parish Council Meetings. The Annual Parish Meeting is an open meeting for all Clive parishioners and is usually held in May. It is sometimes referred to as the annual meeting of local electors. Although it is called and chaired by the Parish Council chairman, it is not actually a parish council meeting. Parish electors are encouraged to contact the clerk with suggestions for agenda items, and they are also encouraged to attend the meeting, and vote on any proposals. Members of the press are also welcome to attend.

Coronavirus update:

In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, current advice from NALC is that parish meetings  MUST NOT TAKE PLACE as legislation has not granted permission for them to meet remotely. This includes the annual parish meeting which would normally have taken place in May.
