Walking

If you are looking for a walk in Shropshire, the Shropshire Walking website is the place to visit. With over 3,500 miles of public rights of way and a quarter of the county designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you're sure to find a walk to suit you.

Go to shropshirewalking.co.uk for more information.

Parish Paths Partnership

Coronavirus update: P3 group working parties are not currently able to take place. We will update this page once we have more information about when activities can resume safely.

There is a Parish Paths Partnership (P3) volunteer group for the Clive & Grinshill area who meet throughout the year to walk the local rights of way network, clear overgrown paths and bridleways, and report any access issues e.g. broken styles, blocked footpaths etc., to make sure the rights of way network remains accessible to as many people as possible. They follow Shropshire Council's Health & Safety guidelines and wildlife conservation legislation to ensure that any maintenance work is carried out safely and does not damage the local ecology. Whilst P3 comes under Shropshire Council rather than the Parish Council, the Clive & Grinshill P3 group does include councillors from both parish councils and P3 updates are received at Parish Council meetings.

If you would like to know more about joining the P3 group, or if you have noticed any access issues that need addressing, please contact the parish Councillors below:
