Share your views on the scope of the new Local Plan for Shropshire
Comments deadline 15th July 2026
Shropshire Council has started the process of working on a new Local Plan for the period 2025-46. A Scoping Consultation is currently underway until 15.07.2026 to seek the views of local communities, town and parish councils, local businesses and organisations and all other interested stakeholders. Full information on the consultation can be found on the Shropshire Council Local Plan Scoping Consultation website. The Parish Council is preparing its response, but residents are also encouraged to read the consultation information and submit their own responses to the consultation.
How to respond
There is an online Local Plan Scoping Consultation response form on the Shropshire Council website, or alternatively you can download a copy of the response form to fill in offline.
