How to join

Full Membership

Whether you are new to bowling or an experienced player any prospective members first go through the process of joining as a Temporary (Trial) Member .
This ‘Try before you buy’ approach gives you a chance to get to know the club and make sure that it’s right for you before parting with the Membership fee.
Temporary Members pay a small sum and meet with a club coach for up to four, two hour sessions before completing the Full Members Form and receiving the Member’s Booklet.
Temporary Members have full access to the club equipment, including bowling shoes which must be worn on the green at all times, no sandals are permitted.
There is a good selection of different sized bowls to choose from.
Further coaching is available once you join.
Noticeboards in the Clubhouse should contain all the information about the Club and its activities so hopefully by the time a new Member joins they will be comfortable with how the club works, where to get keys, club shirts etc. and how to make the tea.
Temporary Membership Application is below

Social Membership

We have an active Social Committee who organise events throughout the year, including the Winter months when the green is closed.
Social Members have use of the Clubhouse facilities including a fully licensed bar and may participate in Social Events. Social Members shall not be entitled to participate in any Club bowling activities either internal or external, nor play casual roll-ups, other than as a member of the public on payment of the Fareham Borough Council Green fees.

Scale of Charges

The nominal fee paid for Temporary Membership is deducted from the final Membership fee.  Fees for first time Members are reduced  if you join later in the season as shown below
