Match Report for the week ending Sunday 10th May

Datchworth played six games last week with success and defeat.

The friendly against Potters Bar ended in defeat by 9 shots. Top rink, Sue Ellis, Phil Holzbauer, George Campbell and Alan Curtis. Well done to Alan who I think was skipping for Datchworth for the first time.

The match against Stevenage Veterans ended in a much needed win. Datchworth beat them by 6 shots, the top rink being Pauline Whybrow, Mike Usher and Maurice Gordon.

Another convincing win in the EHBL against Sele Farm beating them by 28 shots. Top rink George Campbell, Jim Smith and Les Parsley.

A close result when we played Knebworth in the WHBL losing by 2 shots. Top rink Alan Curtis, Terry Metcalfe and the inimitable Richard Harper.

It was another close defeat when we played a friendly against Shephalbury losing by 1 shot.

Finally we played Baldock in the SDMBL losing on all three rinks by 36 shots.
