DCIBA PRESIDENT’S ADDRESS

President Mousa Al-Kordi writes:-

Dear Members of the DCIBA

It is my honour and privilege to send you this message at the commencement of my Presidency, albeit a year later than planned due to the Covid 19 situation.

Firstly, I would like us to remember those members of our association who have recently departed; they will be very much missed by all.

My gratitude to all our officers for their unstinting support in allowing my tenure to smoothly run forward. My particular thanks to Ken Brenchley (my mentor) who has kept an eye on me from the start! The last 12 months has been a year to forget. I am hopeful of better times to come, not least in the bowling world. As your President, I have a lot of expectation for the future.

It has been a privilege to visit many of our clubs, to witness our teams playing against other counties and I am sure we will all agree that our Devon County players, both men and women, have done us proud and will continue to do so.

As your President, I will put one hundred per cent into everything I can and will always be grateful for all the support given by our members in keeping the DCIBA at the forefront of our game.

Mousa Al-Kordi
President 2020/21 & 2021/22
