Halling Community Centre

'i-g' On the site of Halling Community Centre once stood the Halling Institute. A large and imposing Victorian building, it was built by the local Hilton & Anderson cement company as a club for its employees, opening in 1889. It closed in the early 1970s, fell into disrepair and was finally demolished in around 1998. Its grounds became the Low Meadow housing estate.
