Plaque 2: Halling Old Primary School

This building served as the village school for 120 years. The first headmaster was a Mr. John Redfern, after whom the current building was named when it was repurposed as private flats. The school moved to its current location in Howlsmere Close in 1996. The School commemorates  its 150th anniversary in 2026 with a year of celebrations planned.
