Community Resilience Working Group

After the flooding in Headbourne Worthy village in 2014 the Council has been working with HCC to develop a strategy for flood mitigation. In order to facilitate better focus on the matter and to progress it with HCC the Council has agreed to establish an informal Working Group. The Council also agreed that it was appropriate for the Working Group to look other community resilience matters. These have been agreed as:

  1. Annual Review of the Parish Emergency Plan
  2. Response preparation to emergency events
  3. Consideration of flood mitigation matters
