The Parish Council has set up the Community Resilience Working Group to look at the following matters:

  • Annual Review of the Parish Emergency Plan 
  • Response preparation to emergency events 
  • Consideration of flood mitigation matters

If you are resident in the village and need help with groceries or prescriptions, please contact the Clerk who can direct you to a community support group.


As a result of the flooding in early 2014, the Parish Council has been gathering learning points from residents, and is working on an Emergency Plan which should be consulted in the event of an emergency such as a flood.  Regular meetings are being held with Hampshire County Council to determine how flood water will be managed in the future.
