Kingsclere Parish Council
A Neighbourhood plan is a document drawn up by a community which establishes general planning policies for the development and use of land in a neighbourhood, such as:
- where new homes, leisure facilities and business premises should be built,
- what type of development they should be and what they should look like.
The plan can be detailed or general, depending on what local people want.
The Kingsclere Neighbourhood Planning group will be engaging with the community and drafting the Kingsclere Neighbourhood Plan plan which will be put to the village in a referendum in 2015. The Neighbourhood Planning group meets once a month to work on getting our plan written and implemented. The plan will allow us to get the right type of development for our community. It will also meet the needs of the wider community, through compliance with Basingstoke & Deane’s Local Plan 2011 – 2029, which allocates Kingsclere 50 houses to build in the plan period - the next 15 years.
The Group is always looking for new volunteers so if you're interested in joining contact Sue Adams at firstname.lastname@example.org.
