Councillors and Employees

Marden Parish Council should have 11 Councillors, but only 9 of which were elected at the uncontested 2024 elections: Cllrs Adam, Besant, Boswell, Gibson, Newton, Rabot, Summersgill, Tippen and Turner.

Cllr Paul Dobinson was co-opted onto the Council on 13th August 2024 but unfortunately had to resign in January 2025. He has now been co-opted again to the Parish Council at the February meeting.

Cllr Matt Besant resigned from the Council 7th October 2024, and was replaced by Cllr Jon Goda when he was co-opted at the December Full Council meeting.

Cllr Griffiths was co-opted onto the Council on 29th April 2025 for the vacancy left from the elections in 2024.

The Parish Council employs 1 full time Parish Clerk, 1 part time Deputy Clerk, 1 part time Administrative Assistant, 1 part-time village caretaker and 1 full-time Groundsman.
