Housing Needs Survey - Mickleham

10th January to 7th February 2025.

Mickleham PC are launching a Housing Needs Survey for Mickleham.
This is in collaboration between Mole Valley District Council, Mickleham Parish Council and Surrey Community Action (SCA).
It is designed to evaluate what, if any, housing is needed and might be permitted, without affecting the character of our lovely village.
Mole Valley District Council’s Local Plan rightly places heavy restrictions on building in rural villages like Mickleham, but they are prepared to entertain exceptions where needs can be demonstrated.
The purpose of the Housing Needs Survey is to provide us with a better understanding of the needs of our community. This could include “Affordable” (subsidised/council housing), “Family Housing” (2-3 bed houses) or “Downsizing Opportunities” to allow older people the ability to remain
in Mickleham.
Surveys will be distributed from Friday 10th January into the weekend.
Please fill out the questionnaire when it arrives in order to provide as comprehensive a survey as possible.
All information and responses will be ‘Strictly Confidential’ and the results will be available on the Mickleham Parish Council website following the completion of the report.
For further information please conatct the email below.
