Welcome to the Plymouth Life Centre Indoor Bowls Club.
With a population of nearly 260,000 Plymouth is the largest city on the south coast and the 17th largest city in England. The city has an extremely active sporting community, across many age groups and skill levels. The sport of Indoor Bowls is extremely well represented within the city and the Plymouth-travel-to work-area.
The Plymouth Life Centre Indoor Bowls Club was founded in 1969 (Known as Plymouth Indoor Bowls Club). It has a membership of approximately 750 and offers a range of social and competitive playing opportunities, with an emphasis on providing a warm and friendly atmosphere to new and existing members.
The club has one of the largest disabled sections in the country, which includes provision for the visually impaired and the severely disabled. The club competes in County and National competitions and has achieved a large amount of success in both men's and ladies events.
