Coaching for beginners
If you have never tried Indoor Bowls before and are curious whether this sport is right for you, why not take advantage of up to four free coaching sessions?
Session Details:
When: Sessions start on the first Friday of each month
Where: The Life Centre, Bowls Hall.
Time: Registration begins at 09:15, with sessions running from 09:30 to 11:30.
A short break will be included for a chat over a hot or cold drink, which you can purchase from the on-site café.
Booking: A reservation is essential.

Equipment: We pride ourselves on having a wide variety of equipment suitable for all abilities. All we ask is that you wear flat, clean-soled shoes.
Our available equipment includes:
- A selection of bowls and wheelchairs (both powered and non-powered).
- Bowls of all sizes, including New Age soft bowls for younger members.
- Ramps and other bowling aids to assist with delivery.
Cost: After your free sessions, joining the Plymouth Life Centre Indoor Bowls Club is straightforward. Our coaches will be happy to assist you, or you can refer to the new member form below.
Bowls Hall Location: We are located on the lower ground floor of the Plymouth Life Centre, which has disability access and a lift to the bowls hall.
There is also rear door access available for disability club members only. Ample designated disability and free parking spaces are available at the Life Centre.
