Coaching for beginners
Never tried Indoor Bowls before and wonder if this is the sport for you – then why not take advantage of up to four free coaching sessions.

When?
- Sessions are held on Friday mornings at the Life centre in the Bowls Hall.
What time?
- Registration on rink is at 09.15 with sessions running from 09.30 -11.30 - this includes a short break for a chat over a hot/cold drink which can be purchased from the on-site café.
Equipment?
We pride ourselves on the range of equipment available to meet all abilities – we only ask that you wear flat clean soled shoes.
We can provide:
- A selection of bowls wheelchairs both powered & non-powered.
- Bowls of all sizes and New Age soft bowls (for younger members).
- Ramps to aid delivery and other bowling aids.
Cost?
After your free sessions, then joining the Plymouth Life Centre Indoor Bowls Club couldn’t be simpler, and our coaches will be happy to guide you or see the new member form below.
Bowls Hall location?
We are situated on the lower ground floor of the Plymouth Life Centre – this has disability access and a lift to the bowls hall and another rear door access which is available to disability club members only. There are plenty of designated disability, and free parking places all around the centre.
Indoor bowling - a sport for all ages and abilities
